Biomass

Biomass is a biological product, constituted mainly of non-fossil substances of animal and/or vegetable origin, whose exploitation produces energy, which can be considered renewable.

Biomass has a very low environmental impact, and is widely available, often at zero cost.

Because biomass consists of by-products (sawdust, fruit cores, agricultural and forestry waste) its exploitation for energy also eliminates the costs of waste disposal.

There are different solutions for the exploitation of this precious resource. B.C.E. proposes the optimal use of woody biomass and their by-products.
